WHY

All proceeds benefit The Kathleen Barsotti Non-Profit for Sustainable Agriculture (KBNP). The KBNP provides educational assistance for farm workers and their families through school supply donations and English as a Second Language classes. In addition to educating the public about sustainable agriculture, it also awards scholarships to a high school senior pursuing an education that focuses on integrating sustainable agriculture into our society.

 

ADMISSION

Carpool to Capay and Save with "Admit One Car" Tickets!

Tickets are "Admit One Car" that covers admission for all car occupants. Tickets are non-refundable. 

 

     Advance "Admit One Car" Tickets:

     $20 - purchased before Thursday, Sept. 27th

 

     Day-of-Event "Admit One Car" Tickets:

     $25 - purchase at the farm, day of the event

 

CAMPING

Advance Campsite purchase: $35 per site; (admission not included; purchase is non-refundable)

Day-of-event campsite purchase at the farm: $40 per site; (admission not included) Available First-Come /First-Serve Basis

 

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT CAPAY CRUSH

  • Live music!  

Kelly McFarling - 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.This banjo playing, soulful singing performer is originally from Atlanta, but she has motored her way out west. McFarling pays homage to her southern roots in her bluegrass style music, and influences of folk, oldtime, blues and country. Come indulge in this magical evening of food, fun and great music!

 

Boca do Rio - 6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m This San Francisco band is guaranteed to get you moving. Their "música orgânica" is full of Brazilian influence and African rhythms. Their philosophy is to share and celebrate music and everything that it brings to our lives.  

  • Grape Crush Stompin’ Fun for kids and adults! I Love Lucy style. 
  • Wine Tasting! Consider bringing your own tasting glass to save waste. Wine tasting is included in admission. We're very excited about the excellent local wine makers pouring at the tasting:

     Capay Valley Vineyards

     Seka Hills

     Simas Family Vineyards

     Turkovich Family Farms  

  • Fruit or Vegetable Harvest:  Enjoy some time in the field by joining in our Harvest Activity. Fruit and/or veggie item to be announced closer to event.
  • Tractor Tour:  Enjoy a tram ride powered by one of our hard working tractors and learn a bit about our farm along the way.  
  • Farm Stand:  Fruits, vegetables and other healthy snacks will be available for purchase.   


 

CAMPING IN THE FRUIT ORCHARD

Sleep under the stars and among the fruit trees.  Reserve a camp site in our peach, fig and mandarin orchards. 

 

          $35 Advance Campsite Reservations (admission not included)

          $40 Day-of-Event Campsite (admission not included) - Available First-Come /

          First-Serve Basis

 

- Each site is 15' wide and extends the length of the orchard row

- One car allowed per site, parked at site

- Campers may check in as early as 3:30 p.m. on September 29th

- Stay until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30th

- Restrooms and sinks available

- Sorry, no pets allowed

 

 

WHAT TO BRING

Guests are encouraged to bring picnicking essentials, blankets, fold-out chairs, tablecloths, water, sunblock/sunhat and dress for the farm with shoes suitable for the field and dirt paths. Don't forget your camera! The farm and Capay hills make a lovely backdrop for photos. Sorry no pets allowed.
